I. Revelation Opens the Door to Forgiveness (Lk. 17:3; Hebrews 12:15)
Hebrews 12:15 “See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root
grows up to cause trouble and defile many.”

II. Repentance Leads to Forgiveness (Lk. 17:3; Mark 11:25)
Mark 11:25 “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive
them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

III. Reflecting God’s Character Through Forgiveness (Lk. 17:4; Mt. 7:1-2; Isaiah 43:25)
Matt. 7:1-2 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2  For in the same way you judge
others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and
remembers your sins no more.”
